Collage

This collage is about my future goals. My project shows a couple of friends sitting by a road surrounded by books and art materials. The city is representing my want to travel to the city, I've always felt like being in the city felt better than being anywhere else. The people on the grass depict the friends I have and want to hang out with so I always have someone to depend on. The books and art sketchbook means that I want to get better at studying and drawing/painting. For this project, I cut and glued yarn and paper.

For this project, the class was required to look at the sole of a shoe and draw it along with paint it while using a monochromatic color scheme.

The color wheel is an important tool for artists to know because it shows the relationships between colors. It has primaries, secondaries, and tertiaries.

World Problem Artwork

For this project, I wanted to represent an average teenage girl who has low confidence. The person in the mirror is herself, but she is filled in with her words of her insecurities.
